Inverdoorn Game Reserve is a 10 000 hectare Western Cape game reserve dedicated to wildlife conservation.Home to the big five, it is the largest game reserve in the region and boasts fine luxury accommodation to suit all tastes and needs.
The reserve protects over 1200 animals in the rich biodiversity of the Little Karoo. The privately owned game reserve ensures that the animals are able to roam free in their natural habitat and wildlife conservation remains at the forefront of everything Inverdoorn does.
Of all the western cape private reserves this close to Cape Town, only Inverdoorn offers such a wide variety of free roaming species living in large family herds. The reserve runs a Cheetah Rehabilitation Program on site open for overnight visitors to explore and visit.
Your malaria free, Cape Wildlife Safari takes place in the Klein Karoo, a 2.5 hour drive from Cape Town where semi-arid desert collides with majestic mountain ranges and grassy veld, open skies and uninterrupted views.
Visitors can track animals on 3-hour game drives in specifically designed Land Rover 4x4 game viewing vehicles with rangers on hand to help you find the animals and provide accurate, up-to-date information on flora and fauna. Guests can step close to wild animals such as giraffes on guided walks with expert trackers during safaris, and overnight guests can watch the animals drink, eat and play at many observation posts situated strategically inside the reserve high up out of danger's way!
